When are brand changes necessary? When one moves to and lives in a country that doesn’t understand what the super mysterious feijoa fruit was in the previous brand, Feijoa Designs.

Building a platform is made more potent using your name, especially when you are an artist, maker and silversmith, so say a big welcome to Hayley’s new brand name with a  look and feel that sparkles. We enjoyed helping her out with the big change and think it’s a bit of gem.

Martinborough Wine Merchants Branding.

MWMS_logo_
The new look logo.

When new owners took over Martinborough Wine Centre, they wanted to put their own stamp on the fabulous wine store right in the heart of Martinborough Village. They engaged us to undertake the rebrand, so we helped with a brand name, then set about designing a new logo, shop signage, stunning window graphics (which grace every window) and took the look and feel across their online presence making Facebook banners and profile pics. We set them up with a great looking Read More

Martyman Face Cream Launches.

Martyman longbush lad tin cutout

Here at Wolfies, we have designed the second product label for Martyman. A face cream made by Adi McMaster from Martygirl. The men wanted their own great, reliable, hydrating and protective face cream, so now they have one. Full of amazing natural, nourishing and ethical ingredients, with an SPF of up to 15, you better get your order in with Adi quickly, as this is the perfect Christmas stocking/hamper addition. The labels are in at the printers while Adi and the elves are no doubt whipping up a nice but not too girly smelling storm in her kitchen.

Martygirl Brand Expands to Martyman.

A men’s range was always on the cards for client Adi McMaster, maker of Martygirl skinfood; products that are natural, nourishing and ethical, so it’s great to be able to roll the first of them out for you all to see. Meet Martyman, our latest branding project.

Things are Hotting up at Wolfies.

PICKLED CHILLI RECIPE

This recipe is for 3kg of chillies. That’s one bucketful.

First, pick chillies with gloves on, then soak them overnight in the brine recipe below, as it keeps them crisper and makes them easier to cut. Read More

Terroir Wines.

BDX 2 pack layers rev2
It was such a pleasure to design wine labels for Simon Groves and Amanda Ra, owners of Terroir Wines. These two beautiful labels wrap around their completely stunning wine that is attracting a lot of good attention. BDX 2011 has been rated 2nd (equal with Atarangi’s Celebre) in a NZ ‘blended red wine’ tasting by Master of Wine Bob Campbell.

“An equal blend of CS, CF and Merlot. Aged for 18 months in Hungarian and French barriques. The wine derives aroma from Cabernet Franc, structure from Cabernet Sauvignon and rich, berry and plum fruitiness from Merlot. Elegant, powerful red with good cellaring potential.” Bob Campbell MW 93/100 Five Stars.

BDX 2010 and BDX 2011 are available direct from Terroir Wines. Their website and Facebook page are food for your soul, they showcase their wonderful wines, lifestyle, poetry and beautiful photography and are well worth a visit.
