The Makers Room. Branding a New Matakana Business.
As creative consultants we at Wolfies love to come up with ways for small businesses to showcase their potential for an affordable price. We aim to deliver great work, without huff and puff. We’ve just had the pleasure of designing a brand, logo and social media elements for a really good friend of ours who is soon to open The Makers Room, a dedicated making space for small crafty gatherings.
Founder of The Makers Room, Sheelagh O’Dowd, is a tactile artist and craft lover who encourages her guests to gain hands on experience, offering either one on one tuition to spark creativity, or private tiny group workshops in her makers room, set amongst a beautiful, peaceful rural vista and family vineyard in Matakana, New Zealand.
Sheelagh is a down to earth, eco-conscious encourager and mindful maker. She loves all things mid century, is a talented Hellerwork Practitioner, great listener, amazing cook, cast glass artist, painter, Pajaki (traditional Polish chandelier) maker and lampshade designer. She can knit and sew up a storm, grow and arrange incredible flowers and make a super cup of tea.
Sheelagh relishes the well-being benefits of creative social connections where insight, supplies, creative challenges and safe conversations are shared.
Follow The Makers Room over on their brand new Facebook page to see what you can make at their workshops once this crazy Covid time levels out a bit more, and find out when they launch their small crafty gatherings.
